Spring in Yellowstone

Spring is now creeping across Yellowstone National Park. Much of Yellowstone Lake still has ice, and the high country in the eastern part of the park is still snow covered, but the new green of spring is present along the Madison River and in the Lamar Valley. The thermal areas  are already crowded with visitors, and bison are plentiful in the western and northern parts of the park. Lots of newborn bison are with their proud moms.
